She remarks,\u201cI know from watching my students grow and advance since the very first Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet tour, that this is one of the most significant experiences a young dancer can have. It lifts them up and humbles them all at the same time.\u201d<\/p>\n Talmi, a Juilliard School graduate, and pioneer of the regional dance movement, developed\u00a0Dance with Us<\/strong>\u00a0with the intent to bring this unique\u00a0opportunity to students and studios in regional markets. The program is 100% underwritten by\u00a0NUTCRACKER! Magical Christmas Ballet,<\/strong>\u00a0including administration,\u00a0international and national transportation for international ballet dancers as well as their salaries and living expenses (when not provided by local host families). There is no instruction fee charged, but\u00a0NUTCRACKER! Earlier children\u2019s programming includes the 1984 \u201cCynthia Gregory Celebration Tour,\u201d and \u201cJust Say No\u201d campaign as its official message, chaired by First Lady Nancy Reagan. Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet\u2019s Russian-Cultural Ballet program was produced in nine museums and art institutions across the US. Later, Cinderella Around the World<\/em>\u00a0dance and literacy program accompanied Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet’s 2004 North American tour of\u00a0Cinderella<\/em>. The \u201cFirst International Glasnost Festival Tour\u201d included symposiums, screenings, poetry readings, and more for students and the public at Dartmouth, Yale, and other colleges.<\/p>\n
