The Majestic Theatre In San Antonio

Welcome to the home of NUTCRACKER! Magical Christmas Ballet in San Antonio: The Majestic Theatre! The Majestic Theatre was designed and built in 1929, with a grand opening presentation of the “Fox Movietone Follies of 1929.” For many years it was the largest theater in Texas and the second largest movie house in the country. Later designated a National Historic Landmark, the theater was closed temporarily in the mid-1970s in the wake of a changing audience. It reopened in 1976, undergoing renovations and expansion throughout the next 15 years. Today, the theater is home to the San Antonio Symphony, and has hosted musicians such as B.B. King and Sting; comedians including Jerry Seinfeld and Chris Rock; and Broadway tours of shows like The Phantom of the Opera and The Lion King.

There are classes in Pre-School Combination, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Drill Team, Dance Team, Modern, Cheer, Musical Theater and Lyrical. Dance is the Hidden Language of the Soul!
