Kirkland Fine Arts Center at Millikin University in Decatur
Welcome to the home of NUTCRACKER! Magical Christmas Ballet in Decatur: Kirkland Fine Arts Center, which seats 1,903 people and serves as a cultural storefront for Millikin’s College of Fine Arts. The auditorium is built with no obstructions within the house so that every seat in the auditorium has excellent visibility of the stage. From the audience, you can view the pipes of the Austin Organ located in the house right loge and three other pianos are available with-in Kirkland Fine Arts Center including two Steinway Grands and a Baldwin Grand. The Center is committed to supporting artistic endeavors, opening minds, inspiring hearts, and providing rich community experiences. The performances presented by the Kirkland Fine Arts Center explore conception, performance, social consciousness, and thought-provoking art-forms.
