Welcome to the home of NUTCRACKER! Magical Christmas Ballet in Detroit: the Fox Theatre! Constructed in 1928, it was the first movie palace in the world to be equipped with sound systems for films. It presented feature-length films, shorts, orchestra performances, and later hosted some of the biggest names in showbiz history—Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., and Shirley Temple—as well as the famed Radio City Christmas Spectacular and Irving Berlin’s White Christmas. Today, the Fox Theatre is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and serves as an exquisite backdrop for a variety of live productions, including renowned Christmas production —NUTCRACKER! Magical Christmas Ballet.

Performer’s Edge Dance Company (PEDC) is an award-winning dance studio that offers both performance and competitive programs. PEDC provides a family-friendly environment with professional instruction that together teaches strong dance technique, responsibility and commitment. Their passion for the arts instills dedication, focus, discipline and self-esteem in every dancer, every day! PEDC is the only area dance studio that offers Chorus Line instruction and participates in many local parades – they even have a former Radio City Rockette on staff!
