Houston Partner Ballet Studio: Mitsi Dancing School
Nutcracker wouldn’t be Nutcracker without the local Children’s cast! Dancing along side the full international professional cast are local Houston children from Mitsi Dancing School. Mitsi Dancing School (MDS) is one of the fastest growing dance schools in Houston, with over 600 students at three full-sized studios in Houston, Katy and Sugar Land area. With a group of highly professional and dedicated teachers, MDS offers high quality ballet, modern, Chinese dance, among many other dance genres. Some of MDS’s past highlights include being national quarter finalist in America’s Got Talent in 2013 and Regional Top 12 at the Young America Grand Prix (YAGP) competition in 2018. MDS also offers American Ballet Theatre’s National Training Curriculum exams for students age 5 and up. Together with its not-for-profit dance company Movements In Time (MIT), MDS offers intensive dance technique training, choreographing original dance programs, as well as the opportunities to perform with some of the world’s best dance companies, and aims to assist talented dancers to take their dance skills to the next level.
