Dancing along side the full international professional cast are local Jacksonville children from Alius Dance School. Alius Dance School (ADS) is proud to offer a unique dance program for all ages including ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, musical theater and modern dance. ADS provides a solid foundation for the pre-professional dancer based in the integration of new research in dance cross training techniques and classical styles of ballet, developing a dancer who is capable of sustaining a long, artistic career. The Elemental Body Alignment Systemis a new innovative stretching and strengthening technique designed and created by Scott Putman. The focus is to understand basic principles of initiating and anchoring movements from the pelvis while finding efficient and effective alignment through experiential anatomy. This system empowers the learner to develop a conscious awareness for integrating and articulating body parts while assisting the student in finding a deeper understanding of the body’s unique kinetic potential.
